Indigent Defense Attorney Contracts
The 294th District Court of Van Zandt County, Texas is soliciting applications for licensed attorneys to provide Indigent Defense representation for Felony cases for a contract term of 24 months (2026-2028).
The application period opens August 15, 2026. The application deadline is 2:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026. The Court intends to award two (2) contracts, with one contract period being October 1, 2026 - October 1, 2028 and the other contract period being November 1, 2026 - November 1, 2028.
